Recognising Leadership in Sustainable Pest Management

The FAOPMA Sustainability Award (sponsored by Ensystex) celebrates organisations within the pest management industry that are leading the way in sustainable and ethical business practices. This award honors those who excel in initiatives that not only contribute to the industry's shift towards a circular, net-zero, and climate-resilient economy but also engage positively with the community.

Successful entrants will have shown significant advancements in reducing pollution, conserving energy and water, minimising waste, and maximising resource efficiency. 

Ensystex is committed to being the 'first choice for environmentally responsible, effective, long-term pest management solutions'.

Aims

• To position the pest management industry as a leader in adopting sustainable and ethical practices, showcasing this commitment to government bodies, community groups, environmental organizations, and other key stakeholders.
• To elevate the public perception of the industry's professionalism and ethical standards.
• To drive wider adoption of sustainable business practices within the industry.
• To foster ongoing learning and professional development in pest management.

Eligibility

• Open to any licensed and practicing pest management company in Asia and Oceania, except current FAOPMA Board members who hold significant ownership or management roles.

Nomination and Application Process

Entries are welcomed from all urban and commercial pest management firms in Asia and Oceania.

Selection Criteria

Entries should detail a project or initiative that demonstrates measurable improvements in energy efficiency, water conservation, resource efficiency, waste minimisation, or broader positive impacts on the pest management sector or community.

Submission Deadline

Completed entry forms and supporting documentation must be submitted by COB 30th June 2024 via email to info@faopma.com.

The Sustainability Award will be presented at Pest Summit 2024.

The winner will also receive:

• A trophy
• A written and PDF certificate
• A feature in the FAOPMA Magazine

Winners will also give a brief acceptance speech during the ceremony.

This award is an excellent opportunity for pest management companies to be acknowledged for their innovative approaches to sustainability and to set a benchmark for best practices within the industry.
