Hosting the FAOPMA–Pest Summit
The FAOPMA–Pest Summit Host Application gives member associations the opportunity to bring the region’s leading pest management conference to their own country. Hosting the Summit is both an honour and a significant responsibility, providing the chance to showcase your industry, promote your country as a destination, and strengthen regional collaboration in pest management.
What the Application Involves
The form is designed to ensure that each potential host can demonstrate their capability to deliver a world-class event. It includes Priority Questions (scored 1–20) that focus on critical factors such as visa accessibility, delegate numbers, and inclusiveness. General Questions (scored 1–10) cover practical aspects including accessibility, destination appeal, venue capacity, sponsorship potential, and organisational experience.
Applications are assessed by a committee of three representatives appointed annually by the FAOPMA Executive Committee. Every applicant, whether successful or not, will receive formal feedback on their submission.

Supporting Documentation
If possible, applicants are encouraged to provide supporting documents with their Host Application Form.
These may include:
- Letters of support from government agencies, tourism boards, or partner organisations.
- Venue name / floor plans/ capacity charts
- Evidence of past event organisation (programs, attendance figures, sponsor/exhibitor lists).
Providing this information will strengthen your application and assist the evaluation committee in making a fair assessment.
